Events

We like to keep our residents in the know.  Some of the ways that we are doing this is with community events, school participation, girl scout & boy scout visits, weekly summer cook outs, and holiday & religious events.

Over the past month many of our residents  participated in a symbolic Seder.  It was a cultural learning opportunity for many of us, and a lot of fun.  Leading up to Easter we enjoyed coloring (and eating) Easter eggs,   word games, and the movie “Easter Parade”.

Each week we have a large array of programs including the favorite word games “The Wheel of Fortune”, musical entertainment, sing-alongs, “name that tune”, spelling bees, exercise, and much, much more.

With the warm weather starting we have begun our garden club and many residents are tending to starter plants on their windowsills. We hope to be transplanting these out doors very soon and also enjoying other outdoor programs.   I’ll keep you posted!
